I worked as a card runner for USA Today Sports under my professor Bruce Thorson. I would take his cards to upload inbetween innings and had the opportunity to network with professionals in sports photojournalism. I also managed to photograph some of the games to learn and master baseball photography. Doing this, I gained experience in covering a national event like the College World Series for a national news outlet like USA Today Sports.
