I was able to cover a Nebrasketball winning season for the Omaha World Herald the spring semester of my sophomore year. 
As a freshman, the men's basketball team really struggled but luckily for my sophomore year while I was interning at OWH they went 22-11 overall and 16-1 at home. The team lost to Michigan, terminating them from the Big Ten Tournament and ended their season when they played and lost to Mississippi State at the National Invitation Tournament.
